I approached Suzy in the gym to ask about a certain weights machine. She was very helpful and friendly.
I then decided to ask her to train me….. 
well that was 4 years ago!!!
Suzy pushes me where I would not do so if I was training myself.She guides me with nutrition and explains what muscle we are working on. I find this very helpful.
Suzy is very understanding and has helped me through injuries over that time
I now have a good level of fitness for my age.

I’ve been asked by several people ‘what have I done to change shape and drop a couple of sizes ?’. Well the answer is simple. I have been training with Suzy. When I first started at the gym 2 years ago I was unsure, nervous and didn’t want to bulk up muscle, like I have seen so many people do. I visited the gymn once a week but that changed when I booked my first PT session with Suzy. We spoke about what I ideally wanted to aim for and what I wanted to avoid. We worked out that I would do a progressive training programme, including cardio, strength, resistance and HITT training. We were always careful as I’m asthmatic, which is why we work on my cardio to open up my airways. This has really helped. I don’t feel so out of breath. Having Suzy guide me and explain what we are doing and why, has reassured me immensely. Since January we increased the challenge in training as I’ve become stronger. I have my measurements taken once a month to see how my body has changed. With eating more healthily and training with Suzy twice a week I’ve dropped 24 inches over my body. It’s still a work in progress but I’m feeling healthier, confident in my own skin, happier and much fitter. If there is anything I’m not sure about in my diet I’ll ask her opinion. This helps a lot as she’s been so supportive. My training program has been designed specifically for me and to work towards my goals. My training is still on going and with the reassurance Suzy gives me I hope to be enjoying more progress in the future.

Suzy has helped to transform me on my weight loss journey and our Training has helped me to lose 53 pounds so far. I am much happier and more confident than I have been for years, I have muscle definition, I’m stronger and fitter and more able to run about after my two young children. Our training is most challenging and varied but realistic and she pushes me to get the most out of the sessions. She is caring, endearing and funny which helps! If you want results, go and see Suzy!

I came back to personal training with Suzy after a long break from training - for me it had to be Suzy, because she understands my hectic schedule and the stresses of running a business. Suzy was able to get me back to a great level of strength and fitness with rehabilitation work and then skilful variation of training activities that i believe has made me healthier with less training pain than i experienced with other trainers. I’ve been training with Susie for two years’ now and cannot recommend her enough. For the first time in years I feel strong and healthy and content in my toned and strong body.  Her approach has been tailored to personal to my circumstances.  My initial goal was to get back into shape after lower back surgery and at the outset, Susie took the time to speak with my post-op physiotherapist to ensure the training plan she was designing for me as the right pace and that the routines were all risk-free as far as my lower back was concerned.  Now have fully recovered from the surgery, Susie’s PT routines are varied and challenging, which keeps things interesting, and rest assured all muscle groups get attention, i.e. no muscles left behind!  As my strength has developed, my sessions with Susie are more and more challenging and she cleverly designs workouts to push me a bit harder to a level she knows I can do and handle.  The feeling of satisfaction when we move up a kettle bell or when I can do a series of lunges with little moaning (😉) is fantastic.  I say “we” because Susie is there with me encouraging, supportive, and positive – while she doesn’t let anything slide and Susie expects the best from me – she’s a true partner in my health and wellbeing and fully present in each session.  Fully recommend #bodiesbysuz 100%
